study dose certification and documentation.

solid waste limits and their monitoring.
. Additional work for NIST to quantify the bitter orange
alkaloids in their prospective Citrus aurantiium-containing dietary
supplement Standard Reference Materials (SRMs 3245, 3242, 3241, 3244,
3243, 3240).
. R&D work on continuous emissions gas analyzers for use in
industrial stack EPA compliance. Novel adaptation of Ion Mobility
Spectrometry to the anlysis of ammonia in stack gases. Worked to
improve specificity of existing analyzers for nitrogen oxides, sulfur
dioxide, chlorine dioxide, and hydrogen fluoride.
. Additional analytical instrumentation used include NMR, mass
spectrometry, specific ion electrodes (intracellular and
extracellular), intracellular fluorescence ionophores, scintillation
counter determination of radiolabeled compounds, chiral
chromatography, size exclusion chromatography, and static/dynamic
light scattering molecular weight determinations.
