Qualifications
With over twenty five (25) years experience in Quality Assurance and
Manufacturing, my skill sets and experience have provided me with awards
for on time & below cost performance. Advanced training in Management and
Leadership has provided me with extensive abilities to facilitate change in
a positive way while maintaining delivery schedules and customer
satisfaction. I am skilled in many compliance standards including, AS9100,
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and auditing procedures. I also have expert classes in
the following software applications that keep me current in the job market;
MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage and Project. As a
Quality Manager, I participate with all departments and multifunctional
groups, initiate and maintain SPC, quality reports, and improvement
processes, lead weekly Management and department meetings, oversee internal
audits and supplier audits, and manage a team of 12 inspectors and 2
Quality Engineers. I am responsible for department budgets,
hiring/.termination and employee reviews, initiating and maintaining all
quality metrics and providing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, daily

Absolute Manufacturing, a Division of Senior, LLC. Arlington, WA 98223
As a Quality Manager and Manufacturing Representative that serves the
following markets, Aerospace, Medical, Defense, Optical Devices, Laser
and Electronics; I planned, coordinated, directed, coached and mentored a
team of 12 quality staff with an average of 25 years in precision
mechanical inspection, assembly inspection, document control, configuration
management and auditing. This also includes the company as a whole in the
areas of Quality. Responsibilities include the following:
The Quality System ensures control of products consistent with industry
standards, AS9100, ISO 9001:2000, ITAR and DFARS.
Implementation of training to eliminate inconsistent processes as well as
required customer training.
Evaluation of company policies and procedures to eliminate waste using Lean
and Six Sigma
Daily contact with customers to resolve quality and delivery concerns as
well as assistance during customer audits
Hands on interaction with quality and manufacturing staff companywide for
quality, process changes, training and delivery schedules.
Developed and implemented an approved supplier list using Epicor Vista ERP
System. Later this was maintained by the purchasing department but audited
by Quality.
Implemented supply chain performance grade cards to eliminate poor quality

issues and changes

Quality Assurance Inspector/Customer Coordinator -Responsibilities included
data collection for non-conformances as well as being a member of the
internal auditing team. Skills include extensive training in Lean
Manufacturing, REDARS, wiring schematics and customer oral and written
communications.
Organize, plan, and sequence work for customer with great attention to
detail to ensure all approved work instructions and computer data have been
completed accurately.

Liaison for Japanese Airline (JAL) to examine aircraft/aerospace parts,
components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, BAC

Battelle Memorial Institute: Columbus, OH - Inventory Manager & Quality
Fabrication Coordinator. Eight staff members under my supervision as
project specialists and inspectors.
Facilitated our product line (Avionics) in becoming ISO 9001certified to
compete in new market arenas.
Managed and maintained inventory control that housed a value of $4 million
dollars of inventory; COTS and drawing specified machined parts for DoD and
internal R&D projects.
Utilization of 45 suppliers for RFQs to meet schedule, cost, and deliveries
for DOD and government projects
Correlated projects with 4 other product lines (Energy, National Defense,
Health/Life Sciences and Laboratories) with 30 Engineers to facilitate
delivery schedules
Acted as Liaison between our supplier's and Engineers to eliminate
performance and quality issues to maintain on time performance to our
customers
1999 to 2001: Attended College in Washington and Ohio. After being laid
off, I moved back to Ohio to be with family and obtain a AAS Degree in
Computers
3/97 to 5/99: Boeing Aircraft Company: Wichita, KS and Seattle, WA -
Quality Assurance Inspector in sub assemblies and final assembly for the
737, 747 and 777 Boeing Aircraft in Wichita Kansas and Seattle Washington.
Laid off.
. Certification in blueprints, calibrated equipment, Electrical
Resistance Testers, torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, height
gages indicators, thread gages, and flexes scopes and sealing. Job
duties included inspection of processes, assemblies, final assemblies,
and documentation of all discrepancies. Laid off.
05/96 to 03/97: Utica Part Clinic South, Tulsa, OK. LPN/Medical Assistant -
Injections, e-rays, EKGs, blood draws, lab samples, UAs, standard
physicals, etc.

- Assisted Surgeons in a patented procedure to eliminate varicose veins.

Supervisor - Supervised 10 machinists, 5 deburr team, and finishers for the
fabrication and assembly of Truck Scales. Plant closed in 1987.
