SARGENT & LUNDY, LLC, CHATTANOOGA, TN ( 2009-PRESENT

Engineering, construction, project management company specializing in

comprehensive consulting, design, and analysis for electric power

generation and power delivery projects.

Electrical Designer

Responsible for physical design of Safeguards Security projects at 3 TVA

nuclear facilities. Installation of transition boxes, raceway and trench

design for power and fiber optics update of security UPS and emergency

generator circuits to existing Secondary Alarm Station as well as Central

Alarm Station fiber optics equipment. Used AutoCAD 2008 for all design.

. Worked with a team of designers and drafters to create critical high

security design documents for 3 nuclear sites against a very aggressive

project schedule, and successfully delivered design packages on time or

ahead of the initial projection.

ASRC ENERGY SERVICES, LLC, Anchorage, AK ( 2008-2009

Engineering, construction, project management, operations and maintenance

company specializing in energy and industrial projects.

Principal Lead E/I Designer

Developed physical design, schematics, and wiring diagrams for new

facilities on North Slope drill sites. Sized electrical equipment.

Installed power, lighting, grounding, VFDs, MCC / SWGR lineups, 480V to

15kV power feeders for drilling and process operations, and 15kV power and

fiber optic to onshore operations control facilities. Used AutoCAD 2008 for

all design.

Earlier work with ASRC included Principal Electrical Designer for Natchiq

subsidiary ASRC Parsons Engineering, LLC (APEL) ConocoPhillips Alpine,

North Slope Alaska 2000-2001.

Senior Lead E/I Designer & Field Engineer (2006-2008)

Hired to turn around a struggling project still in the bid stage to build

new utilities for a 50+ year old plant. Led design of new installation,

relocation, and decommissioning of 11 15kV power distribution substations

including all cutovers of MCCs and motor feeders. Installed cable tray

system, lighting, and grounding. Used MicroStation V8 for design.

S&B ENGINEERS & CONSTRUCTORS (continued)

. Revamped the original expensive and highly impractical plan of placing

all of the utilities underground for an older facility with poorly

documented existing piping and wiring, and designed a new aboveground

platform to mount all of the substations and the MCC building with only

the primary feeder underground.

. Saved $1.8M with project redesign and delivered a solution client and

construction would duplicate.

Senior Lead E/I Designer & Field Engineer (2004-2005, 2002-2004)

Designed power and controls on small capital projects for Eastman Chemical

Company, with a strong focus on instrumentation in addition to electrical

design. Sized and designed MCCs, motor starters, motor feeders, PLC cabinet

drawings including DCS-PLC interface, and elementary, wiring, and block and

loop diagrams. Used MicroStation J for design.

. Performed both revamps of existing facilities and design for new

construction.

CHICAGO BRIDGE & IRON, Tyler, TX ( 2006

Specialized provider of engineering and construction of large steel

structures.

Senior E/I Designer

Used PDS models and AutoCAD 2004 to create the layout, design, and MTO of

power, lighting, and grounding for sulfur recovery tail gas cleanup units

for South Korea-based Caltex Corporation.

. Completed a 6 month project in only 3 months.

Senior Lead E/I Designer & Checker

Reviewed layout, design, and drafting of project electrical drawings and

engineering technical support and design for accuracy and conformity to

electrical design standards. Helped turn around a foundering project in

India that had tried unsuccessfully to adapt outdated designs for a new

compression and reinjection facility.

Used AutoCAD 2000 to design E/I packages for North Slope well tie-ins.

Created bills of materials. Installed heating, lighting, heat trace, and

ROV power and instrument wiring. Contributed expertise to as-built packages

for operations and maintenance.

. Developed project scopes of work, cable and wiring schedules, FCO

folders, and instrument index.

Principal E/I Designer (2001-2002)

Developed electrical layout and helped install oil and gas production

facilities for British Petroleum's Milne Point S-Pad, including MCCs,
