quality and subsequent forensic evaluation for quantitative data for
the determination of repair and reinforcement requirements affecting
1200 feet of welded joints.
. Grand Canyon Sky Walk: RT level III consultant for litigation of
condition of welding for the primary structural support frame.
. City Center, Las Vegas: GPR, CWI and UT level III hired by MGM as
independent consultant for resolution of inspection deficiencies of
various special inspection agencies.
. Stratosphere, Las Vegas: Performed annual NDT of the amusement rides
on the top of the tower.

UT, MT and PT of support pins, axles and supporting structures.
Discovered design deficiencies.
Selected Projects Continued
. Hitachi/Euclid. UT-Shear wave and MT of front suspension trailing arm
castings as well as the turrets, booms and buckets on the giant
backhoes, front loaders and 190 ton dump trucks used in pit mining.
. Non-Destructive Testing Services, Level III, MQS, Wood River, IL.
Responsible for all Level III services for a facility comprised of
over 50 level II technicians. Including procedure writing / approval,
teaching qualification classes and administering certification
examinations. Conducted certification classes for chemical and
manufacturing companies. Customized program instructions and
inspection procedures for client specific applications. Certified

components manufactured under government contract for submarine
nuclear reactors.
. Received commendation from the Navy for development of an
unconventional ET procedure for inspection of the J-57 jet engine.
Cracks discovered during a routing inspection lead to the grounding of
all aircraft using the J-57 in the Navy and Air Force. This ET
procedure was used to expedite the inspection of all engines and
return them to flying status.
