OBJECTIVE
Seeking a career, in Quality Management with a progressive concern that is
innovative in its approach to Quality disciplines.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
30+ years of experience with Automotive, Aerospace and Medical Quality
Systems including QS9000, ISO9001:2008, TS16949, AS9000/AS9100, ISO13485,
21 CFR 820 and FDA GMP comprising job titles including Supplier Quality
Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality
Supervisor and others all related to Quality Management Systems and the
functions thereof. Approximately 16 years in aerospace, 8 years in
automotive and 5 years in medical.
The CQA and CMI through ASQ along with a '02 Bachelors (Cum Laude) and '04
Master (3.8 GPA) in Business Management were instrumental in the Quality
Management Systems installation of QS9000 and ISO9001:2000 that I was
responsible for implementing. This includes all the AIAG documentation as
well as visiting multiple suppliers and vendors for Supplier Quality
audits. I have traveled to Venice, Italy; Shenzhen, China; Woking, UK and
Singapore for ISO9001:2000 and AS9000 internal and supplier audits. I
recently trained as an ISO14000 internal auditor.
I have worked in the injection molding (plastics) industry, Boeing
airplanes, Sikorsky, McDonnell Douglass and Boeing helicopter
transmissions, Northrop B-2 bombers, military weapons component parts, high
end door locks and enclosures, clean room sterilization and polymer coating
of heart stents, Boeing and Airbus passenger seating systems, automotive
transmission castings, and a variety of jigs and tooling.
I have supervised from 1 to 50 inspectors as well as been responsible for
PPAP, PFMEA, FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R & R, CMM, Process Capability
Studies, Receiving Inspection, Source Inspection, CAPA systems and gage
calibration.
These job titles encompass more than just my exact job title, they
incorporate a body of knowledge that covers 30+ years of exposure to a
variety of good (and bad) quality systems.
