I work in an outpatient laboratory. I perform venipunctures on patients of all ages.

My job requires me to have direct patient contact. I do my best to make sure they

are comfortable.

I make sure all specimens are sent to the main hospital accordingly. I always put

my patients first.

I started out as an administrative assistant. I did clerical work and answered

phone calls. I conducted many secretary duties. Later, I was promoted to a

Customs Brokerage Rep. I worked with many companies and set up their

paperwork for importing goods into the U.S.

March 2008 till May 2008

I completed my externship for medical assistant school in the Endoscopy unit.

I assisted the nurses and doctors in the procedure rooms. I took care of patients

in pre and post op.

Dec 2004 till Dec 2008

I worked in the medical unit aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. I performed

venipuntures, administered injections, took vitals, performed ekg's, sutures, iv's,

etc. I worked under supervision of doctors and nurses.
