Poe Productions, Inc. to ensure feasibility, sustainability and product

longevity for new hair care tool. Responsibilities include: business

Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation New York, NY

Vice President / Chief Operating Officer 1995 to 2007

Built the organization from start-up to one of the most respected

Alzheimer research foundations worldwide. Provide strategic planning,

vision and leadership direction to guide the organization's rapid growth.

Oversee over 75, including staff, contractors, committee members, board

members and pro bono service providers. Oversee all core operations

functions of the organization: budget, financials, marketing,

fundraising, public relations, media relations, human resources,

government relations, legal, event management, IT, grant writing,

educational programs, services/program development, development of

charters, by-laws, policies, procedures and administration. Negotiate

contracts for publishing, licensing, intellectual property and other

activities.

. Personally developed and raised over $17 million and an additional $7

million in pro bono services, with 96 cents of every dollar dedicated

to research. .

. Established the Michael Stern Parkinson Research Foundation as a

separate entity from the Fisher Center-doubling the research funds

. Generate millions of dollars annually by orchestrating major

fundraising events such as black-tie dinners, fashion shows,

entertainment and golf tournaments, as well as health fairs and

educational conferences.

- For the Foundation's inaugural event, paired a black-tie dinner

event with the opening of Le Cirque 2000 in New York City, raising

$1.3 million and achieving major national exposure.

- Spearheaded major event at St. Regis Hotel Roof and Penthouse

coupled with an online silent auction promoted by AOL and Double

Click that generated $500,000 and extensive online and offline media

exposure.

- Sponsored and served in a key role on the largest annual mayoral

conference on Alzheimer's disease in partnership with the NYC

Department of the Aging attracting up to 1,000 people at each event.

. Established relationship with Combined Federal Campaign, an employee-

giving program resulting in the largest number of Federal employee

participants (4 million) raising over $10 million for the Foundation.

- The Foundation also benefits from employee-giving campaigns at the

state level, with participating employees across 21 states

contributing $250,000 annually-the fastest-growing campaign for any

foundation.

Marketing Development & Management

. Spearheaded the development of the Alzheimer's Information Program

from initial concept through all phases of implementation and

encompassed:

-Led the development of a documentary for the Alzheimer's Information

Program, Is There Hope?, that premiered on PBS. Program featured an

online tie-in and live call-in format with renowned medical experts

such as Dr. Barry Reisberg and Nobel Laureate Dr. Paul Greengard.

-Documentary achieved recognition as the most successful health-

related program ever aired on PBS.

. Initiated, promoted and piloted an innovative educational program

(including CEUs) on healthy aging in 6 states: Keeping Your Mind Sharp

in partnership with MetLife.

- Secured $300,000 contribution for the Preserving Your Memory

magazine which includes the Keeping Your Mind Sharp program.

Magazine will be distributed to 100,000 physician offices and

hospitals nationwide.

- Advertising revenues from the publication will generate $10,000 per

page.

- Secured pro bono services of ad agencies to build the Preserving

Your Memory TV, radio, print and online ad campaign for nationwide

launch.

- Created and negotiated a major licensing deal with Dicksons Gifts

for a product line to support the Preserving Your Memory campaign.

Developed licensing partnership with Kappa Publishing.

- Marketing campaign features the Daytona Beach Shores Challenge

reaching out to 17 municipalities, as well as the Waltrip Challenge

driving over $1.5 million in pledges. Invaluable public awareness

achieved from advertising the Foundation's logo on the Waltrip

racing team car.

. Established extensive financial support for the Foundation's programs
