effectively test repaired product (units and boards). Worked towards cost
reductions and cost savings in Materials usage, Repeat Rate Warranty

. Developed software to measure First Pass Yield on repair lines. Initial
pilot runs resulted in improvement from an 86-88% FPY rate to >95% (and
improving) simply because a metric was now available.
. Developed a MS Access Report to facilitate data capture of materials
usage and customer issues to more accurately track stock inventory and
report actual repair issues seen in the field to the design teams in NY.
. Introduced all new product (NPI) repair to the plant. This included all
initial material stock orders, test equipment orders, repair line
definition and setup and training of the repair technicians in its
usage.
