settlements.

. Negotiate settlements on self-insured losses, retaining independent

loss adjusters or specialists as needed.

. Collaborate with legal counsel on litigated liability and via

subrogation for insured losses.

. Maintain the general administrative functions of the Risk Management

Department. Report all claims to the Department of Risk Management.
