GE Hudson River PCB Dredging Project - Ft. Edward, NY (August -
December 2009)
( The GE Hudson River Dredging Project was the largest superfund project
in the USA in 2009.
( Upwards of 12 bucket dredges worked simultaneously to remove PCB
contamination from the river.
( Multi-beam surveying and special dredging techniques were utilized to
meet strict grade tolerances.
( Backfilling operations occurred after dredging to seal further
contaminants from leaking.
Golden Pass LNG - Sabine Pass, TX (May -
September 2007)
( Golden Pass LNG was the largest construction project in the USA in
2007.
( Dredging operations were utilized to excavate a 15,000 square foot
berth, 40 feet deep for LNG tankers.
( Two hydraulic dredges removed more than 6 million cubic yards of
material from the project site .
