Application Architect – Callfinity, Rochester, NY – 08/2007-06/2010

While in this position, I was responsible for the architecture and continued development of the web based user interface of

Callfinity’s flagship product. This product is a call center and conference bridge management suite that now accounts for

90% of the company’s revenue. I was also responsible for selecting and enhancing the current web development

framework, which is currently an MVC-J setup that communicates with a call management backend and a screen

recording application over an AMQP message bus. Furthermore, I provided and even now continue to provide senior level

expertise on all web development, as well as serving as an interface between upper management, customers, support and

the development teams.

Software Developer – Callfinity, Rochester, NY – 08/2006-08/2007

This was my initial role at Callfinity. At the time, the company consisted of 4 people (now 30+) with me as the sole

fulltime developer. I quickly came up to speed on what was then a beta passive tap and screen recording suite written in

Java and C#. During my first year, I not only got a stable release out to our very first call center customer, handling

everything from coding, to being onsite for release and support, but also began the re-architecture and expansion of the

product.

Software Consultant – Callfinity, Rochester, NY – 03/2007-05/2007

I worked in this position parttime for 3 months in addition to my role as a Software Developer. Even though I only made

sales calls for 2 hours a day I was able to generate 15 quality leads, 1 of which closed. This role has given me a deeper

understanding of the entire business cycle, which in turn helps me to better serve the needs of our customers.

Software Development Contractor – 04/2003-Present

Contracts:

• BidFolio, Atlanta, GA – 02/2009-Present

• SNR Productions, Las Vegas, NV – 02/2008-Present

• National Freezer, Cleveland, OH – 04/2003-04/2004

Software Developer – Paychex, Rochester, NY – 02/2006-08/2006

This was my first fulltime job after graduation. While in this position, I developed new security features for Paychex’s

currently distributed payroll software, collaborated with my development team, performed a variety of bug fixes,

reviewed QA test cases, and constructed a typical array technical documents (use cases, requirements, technical specs,

etc).

Computer Science Learning Center Student Director/Tutor – SUNY Geneseo, Geneseo, NY – 01/2002-12/2004

I spent my sophomore year of college working as a tutor at the CSLC, after which I was offered the position of Student

Director which I gladly accepted. As director, I was responsible for hiring new tutoring staff, scheduling, meeting with

faculty to discuss how the CSLC could better serve student needs, and occasionally covering tutoring shifts.
