o Ensure SapWeb (the data center inventory system) is kept up-to-date with
periodic inspection, routine reports and reviews
o Be an active DCS liaison to our business clients. Ensure all client
service requests and/or trouble tickets are completed successfully and
within a reasonable amount of time, meeting or exceeding client
expectations.
o Work closely with the IT groups who install, maintain, operate, and are
stake holders of equipment in the data center. Communicate issues,

o Ensure day-to-day appearance of data center area, managing Prod groups
who may periodically perform work within the DC. Prevent stockpiles of

reports to the Global data center manager or project manager in a timely
manner
o Provide written status and updates on data center tasks, activities and

preventative maintenance and critical systems incident resolution.
o Schedule routine meetings to discuss planned maintenance/ project work
and Submit change control requests.
o Work directly our Global Operations Center on data center incidents by
recording Remedy tickets, providing status, following up on resolution and
submitting weekly incident report information in a timely manner.
o Contribute to operational stability, and support changes after business
hours or on weekends as they arise.
o Work closely with UBS security to reduce count of personnel allowed
access to UBS restricted areas. Implemented new procedures for access
control at all North America data center locations.
