suppliers.
Recording and control of a 8500 item retail inventory valued at $155,000.00
and a 975 item wholesale inventory valued at $1,250,000.00
Coordination with accounts payable to resolve invoice disputes, reducing
the number of late paid invoices.
Manage and conduct the annual year-end physical inventory for both the
retail store and wholesale warehouse.
Key Accomplishments:
Reduced year-end inventory by $70,000.00 by using just-in-time purchasing.
Created Excel spreadsheets which tracked wholesale map inventory and
calculate usage rates with reorder points and priority. Provided salesmen
with required product while working with a constricted budget.
Reduced turnaround time on USGS topographic map orders from three weeks to
one week.
Increased the USGS topographic map turn rate while reducing the unit cost
by 8.5 percent.
Reduced warehouse physical inventory counts by 83 percent while increasing
inventory accuracy.
Reduced freight costs by 30 percent.
