Senior Airman Completed 4 year enlistment with the U.S. Air Force station at Travis Air
Experience
Force Base in Fairfield, California. Joined after graduating high school to serve in the
Military armed forces due to the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York. Gained lower level
manager status. Participated in the largest air mobility organization in the U.S. Air Force
that is responsible for the strategic airlift and aerial refueling missions around the world. I
helped to provide rapid and reliable airlift of American fighting forces anywhere on the
planet in support of our mission and national objectives while also extending the reach of
U.S air power through refueling while in flight.
An active participant in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was part of the lower level management
team that proved that the military could be managed like a major corporation. The
precision and the endurance of my squadron was awarded “Best AMC Squadron in the
World”.
Management Responsible for the training of lower level troops. I managed training which included cargo
processing, shipment of goods, “K” loading and refueling of large military aircraft, and
briefing to officers of daily shipment and refueling. These systems were highly
instrumental in the success of the daily operations. I also managed upgrade training of
curriculum and methods, as well as cross trained personnel in job duties which resulted in
lower supervision requirements.
