Looking for a job position in a company where I can apply my knowledge and

previous 10 years experience as a Production Supervisor, or Packaging

Machine Operator.

Work Experience:

Have a 10 years experience working as a Production Supervisor, also have a

5 years experience working as a PMO (Packaging Machine Operator), and 1

year experience working as a Shipping Clerk in the main vegetables

processing companies as Dole, Chiquita, Ready Pac, River Ranch Fresh Foods,

Foxy Food/Taylor Fresh.

Have a clear understanding of concepts of production, and production itself

in Food Added Value Processing Plants, as a production supervisor have

directed personnel to improved safety, quality, product yield, labor hours,

HACCP. Have experience working with labor crews represented by Union, also

have knowledge of the main guidelines and policies for Supervisors and

workers.

At 2008/2009 worked as a PMO for Ready Pac in its Irwindale processing

plant. At the same time started a personal project in Public Relations in

Los Angeles, Ca area.

Duties include to operate Hayssen packaging machine, in the lettuce area,

and onions area.

Calibration and operation, preventive maintenance, as well as job tasks

assign to bagger machine equipment operators.

At 2006/2008 improved first shift productivity for Foxy Foods in Gonzales,

Ca properly training the bagger and sealing machine operators and creating

a day by day report for the Production Operations Manager, this report

included change over, tills, bags, lbs produced by each packaging and

processing line and plant total. Also the productivity percentage per

Packaging Machine Operator was reflected in the report.

This helped to have a balance production flow for both shifts day and

night. Previously night shift was taking the load because production in day

shift was slower.

During 2005-2006 at Dole started as a PMO and was promoted to Packaging

Specialist Supervisor, reduced bagger equipment set up time at start of

shift at 35%, reduced final bags product rework in packaging area in

Dole's processing facility plant in 2005, and improved first shift PMO's

productivity.

Worked from 1993-2003 in River ranch Fresh Foods, where started as a

general labor and ended as a Shift Production Supervisor. Have worked in

several positions GL, Q.A, PMO (Pacmac, Hayssen), Production Supervisor,

PMO's Supervisor, shift Production Supervisor. This extended experience in

several positions gave me a unique experience

to understand first hand necessities of our personnel in the processing

plant, and to know well what need to be improved.

Accomplishments:

While in River Ranch as a Hayssen Production Supervisor developed a whole

new team of bagger machine operators with a teamwork approach, and promoted

the best elements to have the opportunity to become technicians, or to

supervisory positions.

Set up a team of operators to help tear down and set up the bagger machines

equipment in proper time, when the work season started in El Centro, Ca

processing plant.

In 2002 improved 34% River Ranch Fresh Foods first shift productivity,

from 48% to 72% while assigned from night shift Hayssen supervisor to

dayshift Hayssen supervisor by Operations Manager Dave Robinson, and

Production Manager Barry Perkins. This task was accomplished in a 4 weeks

period.

Skills:

Knowledge to operate properly packaging machine bagger equipment: Hayssen,

Pacmac, Bosch, Sandy Hacker, also knowledge of operation of scale equipment

as Ishida, and Yamato.

Six years experience as a Packaging Machine Operator.

Have experience working as a Quality Assurance Technician, as well as a

shipping clerk.

10 years experience as a Production Supervisor directing crews in the

processing of different products that include: Lettuce, whole leaf lettuce,

spring Mix, Mix Vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and fruit

processing.

Knowledge of use of Microsoft Office Programs.

Education:

GED Salinas Adult School.

Several courses on Supervision and operation of packaging equipment.
