Ajay Sandeep Vemuru
Objective:
To contribute my intellectual abilities and problem solving analytical skills to a highly innovative
and dynamic navigation company for the benefit of both the organization and me
Experience:
Study of the effects of Ionosphere such as amplitude fluctuations and phase scintillations on
performance of receivers (Ohio University custom built and NovAtel EURO 3M & OEM v’s)
installed at HAARP facility, Alaska using artificial ionospheric heating
Presently working on the algorithm development to reliably track the GPS signal with rapid
fluctuations of signal parameters in low signal power environment
Implementation of accurate carrier and code phase tracking algorithms with navigation data
bit detection and GPS time decoding for accurate time mismatch calculations between two
different receivers
Performance analysis of both block processing and sequential processing of GPS data
Radio link implementation at Electronics and Radar Development Establishment, India
involving the design of a wireless link including antenna fabrication, protocol development
and implementation
‘Optical Characterization of III-Nitride Thin Film Waveguide Slabs Implanted with Rare
Earth Ions for Light Emitting Devices’ a project which won the student enhancement award
and supported by Ohio University, involved the measurement of absorption and emission
cross sections of thin films
Integrate measurements of equipments such as CCD camera, spectrograph and
monochromator using drivers developed in ‘Turbo C’. The driver was also used for data
acquisition; using serial ports and interrupts, in photoluminescence excitation experiment in
lab
Data Acquisition using Device drivers in ‘Turbo C’ at Defense Research and Development
Laboratory, India to precisely control the trajectory of a missile system
