Advantage in Oracle

. Always work with Oracle. Even in my last company, I helped my

colleagues to solve Oracle efficiency problem(One of our subsystem

developed with Oracle)

. Good at Oracle PL/SQL. I have more than 4 years experience with

PL/SQL. In the ETL architecture I designed and developed in 2007, I

used the Oracle feather of Bulk Collector, a batch data handle

mechanism. It extremely improved the ETL performance without the

one by one transaction and simple SQL which might influence UNDO

space

. Oracle tuning. In my first company, I was recommended to work as

Oracle tuning tutor. The reason why I am good at tuning is I had to

manage at least 1T ETL data with just 4CPU and 8G memory. At last,

I have three rules to solve efficiency problem. First is database

management such as space management, Oracle analysis. Second is SQL

tuning which required us having ability to read explain plan and

then using hint or TOAD to change the specific plan. Third is logic

model design which is associated with analyzing CPU, memory, space,

record number, row properties and then made the decision of how to

design related table. Of course, Oracle tuning also concerns much

other knowledge.
