• Assigned at Humana in Roswell, completed several large and small projects on time primarily utilizing

RPGILE programming language using and code generating tool AS/SET on iSeries environment.

• Prepared system design specifications from functional requirements and developed software solution to

functional requirements on timely basis.

• Collaborated with other developers on technical issues that sometimes would come up.

IT Systems Develeper (Contract)

• Began designing solution for Oracle Credit and Collections project for the Manheim account. The project's

main goal was to centralize Manheim's customer database into an Oracle platform. I reviewed the business

requirements provided by Manheim and completed the design of the conversion aspect of this project.

Prepared data flows and context diagrams using MicroSoft Visio product. Updated the project manager of

this project on a weekly basis of IBMs responsibility in this project by using standard status report.

Followed SDLC methodology throughout the design phase of this project. Project was cancelled prior to

development/construction phase.

• Assisted/trained other developers from India who were learning the Manheim systems.

• Provided help desk support for those issues that were technical in nature and provided those solutions in timely manner.

IT Systems Analyst/Developer (Contract)

• Designed and developed multiple projects that were assigned, utilizizing RPGILE with embedded SQL and CL on the

AS400 system to add additional functionality to the custome software that Manheim developed. Succussfully, designed

and developed new product function called "Per Car Insurance". Completed all design documents and developed

software for this product function using MicroSoft Visio and MSWord. Developed software on iSeries AS400 using

CLLE, RPGILE, SQLRPG. Heavy use of embedded SQL was utilized in the design and developement of this product

function. Also, utilized FTP to send data elements to insurance carrier on a daily and montly basis. Followed SDLC

methodology througout development process.

• Designed solutions working with assigned business analyst to design new functionality that acheived business goals,

utilizing Visio to create complex diagrams for major projects within MAFS product line. MAFS is the financial arm of

the Manheim auction enterprise. MAFS allows dealers to take out short term loans on vehicles that they are trying to

sell to customers or sell to other dealers via the auctions process..

• Managed the development process using prescribed SDLC methodology from analyzing business requirements thru

post implementation support.

• Assisted the QA testing group on determining what elements needed to be tested for all major projects by helping

define scenarios to test and regression testing scenarios.

• Assisted other developers on technical issues as they came up to find the best possible solution to create easy to

maintain code using CLLE, RPGILE SQLRPG and any tools.

• Provide help desk support for those issues that were detailed and technical and provided those solutions in a timely

manner.

• Successfully developed software for assigned projects, utilizing ILERPG with embedded SQL and CL on the AS400

systems to maintain and enhance Cingular's billing system (CARE). Utilizing heavy use of prototyped sub-procedures

and service programs that confromed to Cingular Wireless's strict development standards. Softlanding's Turnover

package was used as the change management tool in promoting objects from development to production environments.

• Utilized free-form RPG in new programs completed, since it has become a standard for all new programs written to be

writting in free format RPG for Cingular programs.

• Successfully completed all assigned development tasks for the next release of CARE billing system. This includes

completing all "flash" releases to production systems when necessary.

• Provided all documentation for new processes and throughly documented all unit level testing events in preparation for

the testing team (QA) to use to develop test plans for integration testing.

• Communicated effectively with designers of projects to ensure that requirements of project were being met.

• Performed code audits for members in our group to help ensure code was up to Cingular's standards.

Project Manager (SAP)

• Manage IT development projects utilizing Microsoft Project using SDLC process around SAP development projects.

Providing status reports to leadership team on a weekly basis showing key indicators of progression of projects.

Facilitated weekly status meetings for projects assigned. Provided risk analysis information to leadership at appropriate

times.

• Successfully completed development and implementation of HR system into SAP HR module. Provided guidance and

leadership to the development team during SDLC process and implementation of solution into production.

• Developed conversion programs to convert Infinium HR/PY master data to SAP utilizing ILE RPG and CL with

and format of information was in the proper status. Worked closely with 3 rd party vendors for the outgoing and

incoming interface feeds into the SAP system.

• Modified existing reporting mechanism for projects to automatically assign color status indicator on the document

utilizing Visual Basic. Previously, each project manager had to manually go through their documents and assign a

color status indicator.

• Managed project for two technical cut over events for releases into production. Successfully communicating with

business users and technical teams to facilitate a successful cut over.. Successfully developed plans that were executed

during the technical cut over events.

• Facilitated working sessions with development teams to ensure project was on track and to meet expected delivery

dates. Held daily checkpoint meetings with leadership team to keep them informed of progress of these sessions.

These sessions were called “war rooms”.

• Facilitated lunch ‘n learn sessions to project management team to share knowledge of the cut over projects. Showing

what is needed to be done from a project management standpoint of view to have a successful cut over event from QA

to production.

• Led development team that supported HR/Payroll application that utilized AS/400 RPGIV, CL programming.

Company has packaged software from Infinium (SSA Global) Created and maintained interfaces to and from banking

organizations, financial institutions utilizing AS/400 tools. Utilized other AS400 tools to achieve desired results (i.e.

FTP, SQL embedded SQL). During this time, the company was in process of converting to a SAP solution.

• Create laser images for checks and direct deposits and email documents to be used with 3 rd party vendor. Modified our

code to use this and produce those documents.

• Created and maintained custom code that interfaced with KRONOS application. Also, customized KRONOS code to

fit CCE’s requirements using RPGIV, RPGIII.

• Technical lead for converting CCSB (Great Britain) to CCE Basis model. This involved analyzing and developing

interfaces from their mainframe and AS/400 systems. Worked extensively with team in Great Britain to successfully

achieve the goal of this project.

• On development team to convert the operation of Belgium and Netherlands division to the CCE BASIS model. This

involved converting the RPGII code to RPGIV and within the standards of the BASIS model

• On development team to build BASIS GUI model utilizing BASIS application on a client/server environment, utilizing

product built by CCCS in Vienna, Austria. Project terminated in January 1998.

• Enhanced order entry system to use telephony technology using script language via Sixth Sense Corporation. The

application interacted with incoming and outgoing calls. Call center users would just press one key to automatically

call customers. For incoming calls, call would be routed automatically to call rep. A message displaying the

customers name would be displayed to the user before their phone rang. User had option to automatically call up

customers account by clicking “Yes” for example.

• Developed Smart Talk product working with the Marketing group to help keep track of key accounts for the company.

Provided key information about history of accounts and provided discounts automatically, if revenue goals were

achieved as defined by parameters set by marketing group.
