This position was at a small urban health clinic.
Responsible for all front desk duties. This involved
Patient Registration, answering main phone, checking in
patients, making appointments. Solely responsible for
providing revenue enhancement for the first time at this
facility. Implemented Third Party Billing, electronic
billing, collections and all accounts receivables. These
duties were all done with the RPMS system required by the
Indian Health Service implemented solely by me due to my
previous experience.

submission of claims to third party payers. Kept
maintenance and control of unbilled claims for an assigned
section of patient receivables. Responsible for error
correction for all rejected/suspended claims previously
submitted to third party payers, intermediaries and
patients according to hospital policy and procedures.
Specialized Medical Claim Billing knowledge such as CPT,
ICD-9 and HCPCS was required/acquired for this position.
Actively worked on Accounts Receivables of 120+ days and
posting of payments. Also, was required to learn Medical
Records policies and procedures and would provide back-up

summarize accounts and monitor status. Established and
