DUTIES: Installation and maintenance of computer systems into District of

Columbia Parking and Service and DC WASA ( Water And Sewer ) vehicles.

Vehicles include Ford 2500, 3500 Utility Vehicles, Stetco Caine and

Vaccume trucks and Water Pumping vehicles. Different mounting eguipment

were used in different different vehicles. The Ford 2500, 3500's required

a floor plate mounted under the passenger seat, the Steco vehicles required

drilling inside the drivers compartment and securing Ledco Tube 15 and

secured underneath vehicles with nuts, bolts and a Lock Tight liquid

fastener. Measurments and Specs for all vehicles were done before

installation. GPS antennas, Ledco Charge Guards and Docking Stations, WASA

GPS Rockets and Verizon Air Cards also installed. Vehicle, equipment and

Rocket number were documented and sent by E-Mailed to person in charge of

collecting daily work and vehicle reports. Parking and Services vehicles

include Dodge Caravans and Ford 3500 Towing Vehicle. Dodge Caravans were

installed with Base plates, Docking Stations, Charge Guards, power and

wiring. Towing Vehicle required a Baseplate mounted underneath the

passenger seat fitted with extention, Swing Arm and Docking Station.

Vehicles tag, VIN, and equipment numbers were documented and signed off by

Fleet Manager.

Job Title: System Engineer Supervisor: Damon Bright and Steve

DUTIES:Installation of computer systems in the Metropolitan Police

Department and EMS vehicles. Experience with Ledco Docking Stations,

Panasonic Tough-books, Ledco mounts and base plates, Charge guards, Linds

and provide maintenance on equipment. In addition, I was responsible for

installing GPS antenna's. Daily actitivities included preparation of

equipment for specified vehicles (Chevrolet Impalas and Ford Crown

Victoria's) Mandatory paperwork and signatures from Officer in possession

of vehicle vehilcle number, tag and VIN number, Officer's ID number and

call sign during time of duty. All equipment serial numbers were

documented, date and time also documented. After installation Officer was

instructed on the equipments ability as well as operation of and Log On

ability and Computer Operated Siren Controls, and Strobe Light Controls.

During installation for DC EMS required installations on various vehicles.

vehicles that were outfitted with Ledco equipment including Ford

Expeditions Crown Victoria's and Explorers, Wheel Coach and Horton

Ambulances, Seagrave Ladder Fire Trucks. All vehicles and equipment were

documented and signed for by vehicles Engine Captain.

DUTIES: Installation and De-installation of computer systems in municipal

vehicles i.e. Laurel Police dept., MD State Troopers, Frederick County

Police dept., St. Mary's County Police dept., and Anne Arundel Fire Dept.

and Prince Georges County Police and Laurel Police Department. Experience

with Panasonic Tough-book, Panasonic Camera, verizon air cards, Gamber

Johnson docks, Precision Mounts, Charge guards and Linds and Ledco

equipment. Before installation paperwork and equipment were assembled in

warehouse and loaded into to work vehicle. Crews were dispatched to

different for either maintenance or vehicle installation. Most law

enforcement agencies use similar vehicles so installation were keep uniform

throughout most departments, mainly Ford Crown Victoria's or Chevrolet

Impalas so installations in these vehicles were uniform. Maryland State

Troopers were done slightly done different because of lighting, speed and

camera systems. All docking stations and vehicles were documented. Fire

Dept. vehicles were installed with docking stations were installed in the

cabin of Ambulances and Fire Trucks.

vehicles i.e. PG County Police, Capitol Heights Police, Morningside Police,

and Upper Marlboro Police. Experience with Panasonic Tough-book, Panasonic

Camera, Datalux Tracers, MP555 modems, verizon air cards, Ledco docks,

Gamber Johnson docks, Precision Mounts, Charge guards and Lindsand Ledco

Base plates. Re-image hard-drive, verified MAC & IP address correspond with

vehicle and officer when login onto computers, verify valid Pids. In

addition, I was responsible for providing technical support for computer,

and computer equipment i.e. mounts, docking station, modem cables and

antennas. Vehicles include new and late model Ford Crown Victoria's, new

and late model Chevrolet Impalas, Luminas, late model Tahoe's and Dodge

Chargers. Installation required vehicle number and VIN, Officer's ID

number and documentation of equipment time and date. Prince Georges County

and Upper Marlboro Police required specific equipment for various models

and makes of vehicles and console configurations.

Job Title: Collision Damage Technician Supervisor: Michael

DUTIES: Inspect damage of vehicles, Identify damaged parts, shipping and

receiving supplies, Disassemble vehicles, Reassemble vehicles i.e paint,

sand and spot weld vehicles. Vehicles were first inspected for damage by

technician, documented damaged parts and possible damage unable to be

determined by sight. Once approved technician marks and labels parts of

damaged vehicle according to verify parts that that are damage and needs to

bee replaced. During dissection of vehicle other damaged parts are marked

to show damage. Parts are ordered and whatever body work needed to be bone

is done ( Sanding, wire wheels, spot welders, stripping of paint, removal

of windows, door panels, dashboards, exhaust systems Once car is

physically repaired it's reassembled with new parts and sent to next phase

of repair.
