Investigate and process workers compensation claims

for all 2000 employees of the casino and race

track, including organizing and scheduling employee

appointments, updating department through email of

work status for employees, and informing current

changes with medical treatment.

Work closely with the Third Party Administrator

(TPA) with regards to supplying information and

reports. Assist with claims.

Update and record OSHA 300 log and submit reports

to state as well as Harrah's corporate.

Assist with safety profile for the casino and race

track by providing reports for the Safety Program.

Maintain filing system for all guest claims and

workers compensation claims (files, videos,

reports).

Remain current with medical terminology.

Maintain a working relationship with all workers

compensation physicians and staff, casino legal

staff, compensation case managers, insurance

companies and Louisiana State regulatory officials.

Brief the management staff regarding progress of

claims and corrective actions.

Assist corporate attorneys with all documentation,

reports, photos, surveillance when a law suit has

been filed.

Schedule all depositions with corporate attorney's

involving any witnesses, employees, and reports.

Company representative when attending all court

proceedings on general liability and workers'

compensation claims.
