Wrench, Digicliker, Pro Wall Scanner, Target hole sensor, etc.)

. Research on sensor modules including inductive, capacitive, and radar

sensors.

. Develop prototype for concept validation including mechanical design

in Pro/E, component selection, algorithm design, microprocessor based

PCB board schematics and troubleshoot, firmware development using

JTAG, and experimental verification.

Development of a high speed magnetostrictive rod actuator and thin film

mirror deflectors

. Designed magnetostrictive rod actuator in 3D and generated 2D drawings

for machining?

. Fabricated magnetostrictive thin film mirror deflector

(photolithography, wafer etching, and plasma metal deposition) in

clean-room.

. Developed an analytical model for static performance of deflector in

MATLAB.

. Performed Finite Element Analysis for structural and magnetic circuit

modeling.

. Developed a high speed vibration measurement system by beam deflection

method using LabVIEW IMAQ, NI image grabber, and high frame rate CCD

camera.

Development of automatic long-term storage and precision dispensing system

for biologic solution

. Created 3D system assembly in Pro/E and 2D drawing for machining.

. Implemented a meniscus sensor for liquid level detection.

. Developed system automation by programming C code in EVB-based system.

Development of an automatic stride length measuring device "TREADTRAC"

. Conducted feasibility studies to verify functionality and capability
