WORK EXPERIENCES
Technoform Glass Insulation, Twinsburg, OH
Manufacturing Engineer, July 2006 to present
Technoform is a manufacturer of insulated glass unit spacers for the Global Window Market. I support both the
Production Team and the Market Team and have executed process and material improvements that increase
efficiencies and reduce costs. I’ve developed and employed test procedures and equipment for qualifying domestic
raw material sources. I have constructed relationships with regional tooling suppliers for machining of process
tooling and also create AutoCAD drawings for these tools. As part of my multifunctional role, I perform equipment
maintenance, manage facility work with contractors, procure raw materials, work with accounting to create raw
material usage forecasts, and participate in the Technoform Safety Committee. I’m currently collaborating with
Technoform’s German Group on product development, global testing standards, and approval of global material
suppliers.

component costs. I assisted Processing Engineering in developing specialized twin-screw extruder screw designs.
I optimized current products by formulation component changes or process parameter changes using Statistica
DOE software. I managed the R&D Laboratory and R&D Technicians. Other functions performed within MDEs’
organization were: answered technical service questions from the sales force and customers, managed polymer
blend BOMs for blended products in IQMS MRP system, managed product data sheets and MSDSs for MDE’s
