Werner Co. is the leading U.S. manufacturer and distributor of ladders and
related climbing equipment. Key customers include: Lowe's, Wal-Mart, W. W.
Grainger, Sherwin-Williams. Werner Co. underwent a successful Chapter 11
reorganization in 2006-07

. Directed logistics and customer service organization of 75
salaried and 200 hourly associates and $75 million in
annual expenditures. Functional departments include:
transportation management, warehousing, inventory control,
logistics analysis, customer service and order processing.
. Directed a Global sourcing organization for finished goods
both from Asian and the United States sources. The total
value of goods purchased was $50 million.
. Directed the overall operational planning functions for the
corporation which include; forecasting, production planning

ServiStar was a leading hardware wholesale distributor with 3,800 member-
owned hardware/home improvement stores nationwide. ServiStar merged with
Cotter & Co. in 1998 to form TruServ Corporation, now known as True Value.
OPERATING OFFICER
. Directed warehousing and transportation functions including
ServiStar private fleet. Directed corporate inventory
control group managing $500 million in annual purchases and
improved inventory turnover by 50%. Developed and deployed
major corporate distribution systems and processes. Led
supply chain integration of Coast-to-Coast Hardware, a
member-owned hardware chain acquired by ServiStar in 1988.
