Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Ledger Accountant at Marathon Sparta Holdings in Houston, TX. The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, managing financial records and reconciling accounts in QuickBooks. This role reports to the Corporate Controller.
Qualifications
Experience in General Ledger management and financial record-keeping
Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software
Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4 years of accounting experience
Plus, but not required
Certification such as CPA
Knowledge of PowerPoint
Insurance Industry experience
SalesForce knowledge
Permanent
