Mixer Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mixer Driver.

Experience preferred but training will be given.

This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and cleaning.

40 hours per week (paid 45 hours) Bonus scheme once role becomes permanent.

Responsibilities Operate lorries in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.

Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.

Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

·carrying out routine vehicle checks Qualifications Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent). Strong mechanical knowledge to identify and address basic vehicle issues.

Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not essential.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with regulations.

Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
