Job Description
System Support Specialist shall provide Level 2, Tier 2 support, IT Help Desk, on-site telephone assistance, on-site technical assistance and remote desktop assistance for the 21st Medical Group, including the use of desktop, laptop computers, software, peripheral hardware, and procedural documentation in a LAN/WAN environment. The contractor shall diagnose, resolve technical and end-user problems, troubleshoot any issues, and coordinate with the Communications Focal Point (CFP) and DHA Global Service Center (GSC)/ Medical Enterprise Service Desk (MESD) as necessary to escalate any incident, if unable to resolve. The contractor will use the government tracking systems, Remedy and Work Order Management System (WOMS) by inputting, receiving, and routing tickets.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
