About the Role:
The Finance department is looking for a Full-Time detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with strong Accounts Receivable and GAAP principles foundation to join our growing finance team. This position will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate recording of revenue, managing customer accounts and collections, and supporting the month-end close process.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, credit cards) in the ERP system
Monitor AR aging reports and perform proactive follow-up on outstanding balances
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
Assist in month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for AR-related transactions
Ensure revenue recognition complies with GAAP and company policy
Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to resolve billing issues
Support external audits and provide necessary AR documentation
Participate in continuous improvement of AR processes and systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable
Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor Eclipse, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
Preferred:
Experience in a high-volume AR environment
Familiarity with cash application and payment portals
Exposure to Projects/Construction-based business models a plus
Knowledge of internal controls and audit support

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 based on experience and qualifications + great opportunity for advancement.
