As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing strategic PR and Communications campaigns for our consumer technology client, for a gloabl audience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies, building strong client relationships, and leading a team to achieve campaign objectives. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker who enjoys working with and supporting clients in a fast paced environement.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned consumer technology clients, understanding their business goals and providing strategic counsel to exceed their expectations.
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns tailored to client objectives, market trends, and audience insights in the technology sector.
Manage and mentor a team of account executives and junior staff, providing guidance on project execution, media relations, and best practices in PR.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets in the consumer technology space to secure positive media coverage and enhance client visibility.
Oversee the creation of high-quality PR materials, including press releases, media kits, case studies, and pitch documents, ensuring alignment with client messaging
Monitor media coverage and campaign performance, analyzing results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Develop and manage budgets for client accounts, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
Assist clients in managing communications during challenging situations, developing appropriate messaging and strategies to protect their reputation.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the consumer technology industry to provide clients with informed counsel and innovative ideas.
Qualifications:
5+ years of public relations experience, with a strong focus on consumer technology clients or industries, with agency experience.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns that drive results.
Excellent English and Korean writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Strong media relations skills and a robust network of contacts within the consumer technology sector
Relationships with Tier 1 media would be beneficial
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience of mentoring junior memebers of the team
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in PR tools and analytics platforms to measure campaign performance.
