Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter customer orders into JD Edwards system to create work orders including Special Service Requests (SSR) as needed.
Schedule marine movements per dock, product availability and customer's specifications including the notification of third- party inspectors as nominated by the customer.
Coordinate and schedule pipeline and tank-to-tank transfer movements.
Interact with customers as needed to ensure product movements are scheduled accurately and timely.
Communicate to the customer any relevant information related to delays or issues with their bulk movement
Coordinate all direct moves with Truck and Rail, as needed.
Ensure all required information and documentation has been received for all movement types prior to scheduling (i.e., ethanol, imports, exports, vapor recovery, barge certification of inspections, etc.)
Obtain and distribute diagrams on ships.
Obtain and enter ETAs from barge companies and ship agents.
Coordinate monthly marine blanket bulk orders.
Obtain surveyor questionnaire for testing requirements
Work closely with Marine Dispatchers for scheduling and revisions. Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years experience within the terminal or petrochemical industry handling hazardous and non hazardous products.
Experience with J.D. Edwards, SAP or other ERP systems, all Microsoft Office software, use of the Internet, and ten-key calculator.
Good skills in analysis and problem solving.
Strong organizational, decision making, and communication skills.
