Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Inspector with experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment under the AS9100 quality system. The role involves inspecting a few pieces from each job continuously, completing First Article and Final Inspections, and using tools such as Calipers and Micrometers. Experience with CMM and CAD is a plus. The inspector will measure and record results on Router and AS9102 reports, maintaining quality standards by approving incoming goods, in-process production, and finished products.

Responsibilities

Complete First Article and Final Inspections.

Use Calipers and Micrometers to measure products.

Measure and record measurement results on Router and AS9102 reports.

Maintain quality standards by approving incoming goods, in-process production, and finished products.Essential Skills

Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment under AS9100 quality system.

Blueprint reading.

Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

Visual inspection skills.

Proficiency in using Micrometers and Calipers.

Ability to measure and record results accurately.

Shop math skills.

Good penmanship.

Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Windows proficiency.

Ability to type at least 25 wpm with excellent accuracy.Additional Skills & Qualifications

CMM and CAD

Experience with metal fabrication, estimation, and mechanical processes.

Knowledge of bill of materials, manufacturing processes, purchase orders, cost estimation, ERP systems, GD&T, inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop where proper PPE must be worn when needed. It can be loud and dusty in some areas. We are looking for someone with a long-term mentality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, California.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
