N-Tier Disaster Recovery Solutions is a full-service mitigation, restoration, reconstruction, and new construction company. We are an authorized and approved vendor with all the major insurance companies who send us their insurance property claims as well as the top three third-party vendors. We are looking for a Network Technician to join our team for a temporary assignment. Our customer’s network room was damaged by smoke. The Technician needs to accurately label and carefully remove the network rack and equipment so that insurance will buy the customer (Garner Foods/Texas Pete) new equipment. After the room is mitigated and all the soot removed and smoke odor cleaned and all the other electrical is removed and reinstalled, and then a new rack and equipment will need to be installed, and all the cabling connected back and tested to make sure it is working in all the offices and cubicles.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Accurately label and carefully remove the old network rack and equipment in preparation for insurance claims

• Install new rack and network equipment after the mitigation process is complete; and make sure it’s secure, correctly linked, organized, and easy to access

• Connect and test cables to ensure proper functionality across offices and cubicles

Requirements:

• Must have strong background in structured cabling; need to have experience with punching down ethernet cable on 110 punch-down blocks

• IT network installation, troubleshooting, and configuration experience

• Able to move and lift heavy items

• Owns essential tools such as cable tester, crimping tool, punch-down tool, cable stripper, cable cutter, labelling tools, cable management tools, etc.

• Strong work ethic and safety-oriented

• Excellent customer service skills

• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record

• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
