POSITION OVERVIEW:
Guardian is looking for a results-driven Director of Operations who can bring leadership, experience, technical expertise and business acumen to manage the day-to-day operations as well as all aspects of the various production departments within the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals
Drive business toward operational objectives and growth targets
Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team including production managers, supervisors and field technicians.
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual production and profit goals in order to align with company revenue goals.
Safety and Compliance: Assist safety coordinator(s) with complete compliance with safety standards and practices.
Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Assist with addressing and resolving any operational issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success, productivity and efficiency.
Lead weekly 1:1 meetings with production team leaders as well as attend and lead safety meetings to help promote a safe work culture.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional and personal growth, and high morale and integrity.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 yrs of experience in similar role within the Construction Industry
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management or a related field
Bilingual in Spanish is required
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of roofing techniques, materials and safety standards desired
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and other operational tools
Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Director of Operations will typically work in an office setting but is also expected to visit job sites regularly. The role may require travel to various locations to oversee projects and help manage field operations.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
LOCATION & SHIFT:
This is a fully onsite role based out of Guardian’s headquarters in Auburn, WA
Schedule varies Monday - Friday with 6:30am or 7:00am start.
May require some offsite work visiting job sites across Guardian's service area and occasional travel to Guardian's Portland Branch.
