MNG is a vertically integrated cannabis company with operations in California and Oregon. Based out of Irvine, California we operate the entire value chain from growing, cultivation and retail dispensaries. We are looking for qualified, enthusiastic Inventory Specialist to join our family.

We are looking to bring on board a Bookkeeper. Candidates with a respect for the company's mission and an interest in our daily responsibilities are preferred. This will be a fast-paced desk job with sites in California and Oregon, requiring outstanding attention to detail. In the end, the Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for accurately recording all daily financial transactions and assisting Mr. Nice Guy with cash flow management, accounting functions, receivables, accruals, financial statement preparation, and general accounting duties.

Responsibilities

Maintain and balance the general ledger with precision, thoroughness, and currency.

Perform all accounts payable-related duties, including evaluating, coding, and processing payments

Perform account receivable duties such as billing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition

Generate financial reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data

Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure conformity with the appropriate standards.

Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases, followed by the filing of printed copies

Paying supplier invoices and monitoring account balance.

Confirming the accuracy of company accounts and notifying the accountant of any discrepancies

Documenting inconsistencies to aid accountants in reconciling inaccuracies

Producing monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets

Assisting the Accountant with administrative tasks and drafting annual financial statements.
