HVAC Service Technician/Installer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various air conditioning units. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently while ensuring high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and related equipment.

* Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.

* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.

* Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.

* Perform welding/brazing tasks as needed for equipment repairs or installations.

* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role in appliance or equipment repair.

* Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and components, including installation and maintenance procedures.

* Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

* Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not required.
