Driver Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage FST's driver payroll

• Prepare and execute pay orders through our electronic system, administer statements of payments to drivers, and process taxes and payment of employee benefits

• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from drivers and prepare reports for upper management, finance, etc.

• You will use FST's Transportation Management System (TMW Truckmate) to:

o review driver packets for accuracy, and

o calculate the correct amount for pay including miles, hours worked, overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc

• You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.

Requirements:

• Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers

• Proven experience in payroll (driver payroll strongly preferred)

• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices

• Proficient in MS Office

• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality

• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
