Assistant Mortgage Processor

Job Description

We are looking for Jr. Mortgage Processor to join our team. This position must input loans into the system and follow up with clients and third party vendors, insurance, title, appraisal companies etc.

In this role, you will be responsible for loan processing, which involves checking documents for compliance with lending regulations, running checks on the client's credit, and following the application through the loan closing process. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in business or a financial field. You also need to have several years of customer service experience, preferably in the lending field.

Loan Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

Check applications and other documents for issues

Run background and credit checks on clients

Follow up to fix any errors

Update application status

Maintain a file of applications and other documents

Loan Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate

Bachelor's degree in business or finance (preferred)

Customer service experience

Strong communication and organizational skills

Part-time
