Electrician

Our client, a leader in global packaging solutions, is seeking an Electrician to join their team. This position is a direct hire opportunity. As an Electrician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the plant's overall business plans and objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $38.38 - $39.88 per hour

Hours: 645pm-7am (4x4 shift)

What's the Job?

Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures for safe performance of work assignments.

Support and follow Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines of the food safety system.

Install and maintain electrical segments in various equipment including gas mixers, air compressors, and plant lighting.

Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair all electrical equipment and systems.

Perform preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems and equipment.

What's Needed?

Experience with PLC programming & troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial electrical networking.

Working knowledge of electrical-mechanical devices, AC/DC motors, and wiring diagrams.

Knowledge of hazardous material handling and safety practices.

Ability to use logic to troubleshoot equipment effectively.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
