Job Description
The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for creating a positive guest experience by delivering an excellent product to the guest. The GM must ensure maintenance of all aspects of the hotel to provide a clean, safe, secure facility staffed with pleasant, helpful employees to provide for all the guests' needs. The GM will have a high degree of professionalism, and a helpful attitude, and be dependable, flexible, well-groomed, detailed, and organized.
Responsibilities:
Manage the location’s daily operations, including administrative programs, as well as achieve all budgets and goals of the Company.
Respond to and resolve guest needs, requests, and complaints.
Maintain responsibility for the hotel facilities, equipment, and assets at all times.
Assist in marketing the hotel, performing sales calls and following up on sales leads. Maintain high visibility in the surrounding community and in the hospitality community.
Perform all hotel duties in all departments, as required.
Maintain the hotel and its operation in accordance set forth by law, by the owners, and by the franchiser, as required.
Qualifications:
Five+ years’ hotel experience preferred.
Must possess the ability to work all shifts as required.
Must be able to work within all departments as required.
Must adhere to the Comfort Inn Conference Center Pittsburgh East Policies and Procedures Manual and Employee Handbook.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. They will occasionally push, carry or lift weights of up to 50 pounds.

The Comfort Inn Conference Center is a full-service hotel of 154 guest rooms nestled on top of a hill. We have both a restaurant (Inndigo Blue) and banquet facilities (Seasons Event Center) on site. Hosting many types of events - birthday parties, celebrations of life, baby showers, weddings, murder mystery dinners.
