POSITION SUMMARY
The Torque and Test Technician serves a critical role in our success. This position requires an individual with prior experience in bolt torquing, hydro testing, and reporting torque and test failures. This individual collaborates closely with other operational teams and management to ensure that all equipment and parts are inspected and maintained to PES standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform torque and test operations and report any torque and test failures.
• Perform repair and maintenance on various equipment and tools.
• Track, record, and monitor bolt torquing and hydro testing.
• Inspect and ensure the quality of torque and test equipment, including but not limited to wrenches, hydraulic packs, pumps, and engines.
• Drives and operates company equipment safely and efficiently.
• May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needs.
• Consult with job-site supervisor for all job information to complete company work tickets as required.
• Tracking, recording, and monitoring of flange management activities, including bolt torquing and hydro testing.
• Drilling rig, completion, production, and workover hydro-testing.
• Regularly keep tools and equipment maintained, and report any issues promptly for repairs
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed. Maintain and properly use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, earplugs, steel-toe boots, flame-resistant clothing, and gloves.
• Troubleshoot as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent education
1+ year of welding/fitting experience in an Industrial setting
Must be certified on PES welding procedures
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform basic level mathematical skills
Must be reliable and have good time management skills
For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
