Main Responsibilities

-Attend and board vessels as directed by the respective Manager, adhering to Wilhelmsen Standard of Operation and Customer requirements.

-Facilitate inward and outward immigration/customs clearances. --

-Collect and process ship documents from terminals as required during port calls.

-Deliver Cash to Master aboard vessels in port.

-Assist with inward clearance at Anchorage alongside Customs Officers.

-Conduct email communication (in Arabic) with Port Authorities, Customs, and Immigration for various ship-related permissions. -

-Prepare Arabic letters and documents for specific requirements.

-Coordinate with Government offices and the Chamber of Commerce for approvals and attestations.

-Visit vessels as required, ensuring compliance with Standard of Operation and Customer Requirements, while verifying with master's that all husbandry, vessel, and cargo needs are addressed.

-Understand and relay cargo-related requirements to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

-Arrange sign-on/sign-off procedures, shore passes, or gate passes for crew and guests as instructed.

-Utilize the Operating System WASP as a reporting tool in line with Standard of Operation Procedures.

-Provide detailed reports on ship arrivals, departures, cargo operations, and Statement of Facts (SOF).

-Ensure mobile phones hired to vessels are accounted for and signed by Masters.

-Exchange required documentation with master's during vessel arrival and departure.

-Process Ship Departure Certificates and Cargo Handling Forms (Pre-arrival and post-departure).

-Adhere to Company Personal Protective Equipment Standards while working in ports and onboard vessels.

-Uphold Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental standards within the scope of responsibilities.

-Ensure safe and efficient transportation of Ships Agency crew and other personnel linked to company activities whenever necessary.

-Report leads, business opportunities, and relevant port updates to the Manager.

-Support the Operations Department with vessel operations, service coordination, and customer communication via email.

Qualifications

Bahraini National, preferably aged between 25-35 years.

Holding valid Customs Clearance License

Graduate of Maritime and Logistics Study or similar course.

Operations 1-2years experience from Ships Agency / Maritime industry added advantage.

Customer Service oriented.

Good communication skills and a very good command of the English language (oral and written).

Good interpersonal skills.

Pro-active and well organized.

Ability to work under pressure.

Thorough and attentive to details.

Valid Driving License.
