SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
The General Manager Office’s Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the office of the General Manager. The General Manager’s Assistant will also serve as liaison for management, employees and business associates to ensure effective communication across all channels in the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion.
Facilitate effective communication between the General Manager, business associates, management and employees that do not speak Mandarin by converting English to Mandarin and Mandarin to English in both written and spoken forms.
Responsible for recording and distribution of meeting minutes and following up with various managers and departments to ensure prompt action on key deliverables.
Act as the first point of contact for international vendors and customers to ensure effective communication of standards.
Manage the facilities and machinery maintenance program ensuring budgetary compliance
Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure adequate inventory of parts and supplies are kept on hand for maintenance of all machines.
Coordinate bi-weekly inspection of the plant with the view of correcting safety violations, to ensure continued seamless operations.
Responsible to maintaining the company’s security surveillance systems, conducting periodic checks to ensure plant operates with the highest level of safety.
Coordinate recycling program ensure ensuring reduction in wastage and liaise with vendors to ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
Oversee the maintenance of Keer America campus including ensuring proper landscaping and irrigation
Perform any other duties assigned by GM.

REQUIRE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 3 – 5 years of experience working in Executive Administrative roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Mandarin English bilingual is a must.
