SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
To manage the IT function on a day-to-day operational basis
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the Company.
Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and / or Wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications. Maintain all server, network, workstation, printer hardware and software, copiers, electronic equipment, and remote office functions.
Development and implementation of new systems. Author IT policy and procedures.
Working with senior management to propose, agree and deliver IT service to defined Service Level Agreements. Negotiate contracts and renewals with IT solution providers.
Responsible for the IT Budget. Identify efficiencies and cost savings through use of IT systems.
Negotiate contracts and renewals with IT solution providers.
Responsible for IT hardware, software, and maintenance procurement.
Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
Develop and control the IT security policy.
Maintain and develop the company website.

Strong knowledge of computer networks, databases, operating systems, and office software and peripherals.
Experience in maintenance, system backups, archiving and disaster recovery, troubleshooting, and providing expert support when necessary
Ability to manage and develop upgrades to supporting office equipment, including fax machines, phones, and copiers.
Demonstrate ability/experience in managing confidential information appropriately
Experience in Microsoft server software including Exchange Server, and remote server applications.
Excellent computer skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Physically able to pick-up and install computer equipment.
Must be self-directed and work independently
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally experience exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment in these situations may be low.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.

No travel is expected for this position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science field required. Minimum of five years' experience in Information and System Technology field
