Job Details

General job duties include caring for a wide variety of patients from newborns to the elderly, including critically ill patients and those in cardiac arrest.

Working at a level 1 trauma center with a specialized trauma team.

Utilizing EPIC ASAP for equipment in the unit.

Job Requirements

Preferred 1 year of nursing experience and at least 1 prior travel assignment.

Active Illinois RN license required.

Minimum of 2 years ER experience preferred.

Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred.

Schedule Information

12-hour shifts with no day/night rotation.

Every other weekend required on Day Shift and either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday on Night Shift.

Every other holiday required.

Unit Specific Information

Nurse to patient ratio is 1:3-5 based on acuity or needs of the department.

Dress code requires tasteful scrubs with solid colored shirts under a scrub shirt.

Additional Details

Candidates must disclose any required time off.

Candidates must provide experience details for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or TNS certifications.
