Office of Family Assistance
What You’ll Do
The Assistant Deputy Director of the Office of Family Assistance oversees several Program Areas of the office in alignment with the goals and vision of the Deputy Director of the Department of Job and Family Services and the Governor.
Manage a team of 6 direct reports (which includes data reporting, adult protective services, food programs, contracts and agreements, Electronic Benefit Transfers (EBT), and Refugee Services) and approximately 30 staff.
Oversees and makes recommendations for the projects and initiatives of their sections.
Creates and implements departmental, federal, and/or state policies.
Maintains strong partnerships with stakeholders
Managing competing priorities, projects, and initiatives·
Overseeing several Program Areas that do different work and are governed by different federal and state policies and offices (e.g., USDA FNS, HHS).
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM
Travel: Travel required, as needed. Must provide own transportation or, in order to operate a state vehicle, you must have a valid driver's license.
