Job Description:
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies while fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. Key responsibilities include:
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, interview coordination, background checks, and new hire orientation.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting employee inquiries.
• Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain HR records and employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Process payroll changes related to benefits, compensation adjustments, and employee status updates.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement.
• Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by staying up to date with regulations and implementing necessary updates.
• Manage HR systems, generating reports and analyzing data for strategic decision-making.
• Support HR initiatives such as diversity and inclusion efforts, employee engagement programs, and workforce planning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR-related role, with exposure to multiple HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
