As a Civil Project Engineer or Senior Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing various engineering projects, leading design efforts, fostering client relationships, and growing your skills both as an engineer and a leader.

You will oversee the full design and coordination process, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and are executed successfully. In this role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients while gaining valuable mentoring and professional development to advance your career. Key Responsibilities:

Lead civil engineering design and coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Develop design concepts, engineering drawings, site layouts, and cost estimates.

Coordinate and manage projects from conception through construction.

Collaborate with project teams to meet client goals, timelines, and budgets.

Present design options and recommend solutions to resolve issues effectively.

Act as the company’s representative during project meetings and maintain communication with clients.

Required Qualifications:

8-15 years of experience in site development and project management.

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related design software.

In-depth knowledge of site layout, grading, utility design, and stormwater management, including LID strategies and SWPPP development.

Demonstrated experience in producing comprehensive and accurate engineering plans.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) license.

LEED Accreditation.

Certification in Erosion & Sediment Control™ (CPESC).

Experience in municipal engineering projects involving roadways and utilities.
