About the Position

Hamilton Capital is seeking a dynamic professional to add to our Advisory Team. A Senior Associate Financial Advisor (SAFA) plays a key role in supporting the financial advisory team responsible for servicing and managing existing client relationships. This team member helps clients achieve their financial goals through discovery of short and long-term objectives and application of innovative plans unique to each person. A successful SAFA understands HC's proprietary financial and investment solutions and assists clients through our process while fostering life-long relationships. This role requires minimum 2 years of related experience.

Primary Position Responsibilities

Obtains Series 65 within six months of starting in the position.

Obtains CFP certification within 24-30 months of starting in the position.

Masters the firm's standard of practice areas in financial planning, investment management and client service deliverables.

Masters the financial and investment features of HC's Wealth Management System.

Prepares for and follows-up on all client meetings and follows established processes to properly document and maintain all client activities, communications, and records.

Actively develops financial planning skills and expertise and delivers advice and counsel to clients as appropriate based on skill level achieved.

Acts as a true fiduciary to our clients and adheres to compliance standards applicable to the financial industry.

Understands the firm's investment approach and philosophy and the value of these services to our clients.

Engages with clients to build strong relationships.

Keeps abreast of current developments in the financial industry.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in financial planning, economics, accounting, or business preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning, investment management, tax planning and/or compliance, or business administration/management.

Strong oral and written communication skills required.

Strong analytical and organizational skills required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and aptitude to learn specialized, industry-specific software programs.
