UBMe is a fast-growing event marketplace offering event management + ticketing services to event organizers all across the country. Having 1000+ organizers and tens of thousands of tickets sold, we are looking to expand our team by adding two rock star account executives. If you are looking to challenge yourself and have what it takes, we look forward to speaking with you. Previous sale experience is a must. Ideally, we are looking for someone within the event space OR someone who has experience dealing with event organizers; however, if you have strong sales experience, that will suffice as well.
Our customers range from high-volume festivals to large expos and trade shows to multi-day conferences and everything in between! You will be provided with a targeted list of those who can highly benefit from our platform. The account executive will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at garnishing the leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings compellingly.
This position includes a base salary and medical after 6 months, as well as high stackable earning potential (you can earn a % or $ amount on all ticket sales, food sales, and merchandise sales, and they are stackable each year + commission from any add-on services).
Objectives of this role
Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers
Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Responsibilities
Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories
Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations
Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations
Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld
Required skills and qualifications
Three or more years of sales experience (BONUS: If you have event-specific experience)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
