Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Spacecraft Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will be designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for our satellites.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop advanced avionics subsystems for satellites.
Design and develop test plans for avionics subsystems.
Collaborate with research engineers to drive innovation and contribute to the company's intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
Integrate avionics subsystems with other satellite subsystems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to avionics hardware and software.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Document design processes, test results, and system performance.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in spacecraft systems electrical / avionics engineering
Proficiency in hardware and software development for satellite avionics systems
Experience in handling, assembling, and testing space flight hardware
Experience developing and reviewing electrical block diagrams
Experience in satellite harness design and specification
Experience designing and assembling PCBA's for space applications
Experience working with ESD protocols
Experience working in clean room environments
Experience with Digital Electronics (FPGA) / Embedded Systems.
Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and software simulations
Experience with RF systems
Proficiency in C, C++, Python
